Public Liability Insurance
Public liability insurance is an essential coverage package for businesses that have large public traffic within their facilities according to MNS news
Last year, Ireland alone had a total of €33m paid out through liability insurance after workplace injuries occurred. Of those claims, 72 per cent of them filed were by female employees. According to numbers from the Irish Injuries Board, over half of the injuries occurred in privately-owned establishments.
Patricia Byron, chief executive of the Board, said that businesses can help themselves out and save a lot of money by taking out accident prevention measures and adequate coverage, even during the economic downturn.
Have insurance makes the process of dealing with accidents in the workplace far simpler, speeding up claims and re-assuring valuable staff. It also means that companies can rest at ease in the full knowledge that their legal requirements are taken care of, whatever happens
